Billing

Billing manages platform access, hosted credit balance, payment details, and automatic top-ups for the organization.

Organization-level page

Billing applies to the whole organization. It is not tied to one selected agent.

What Lives In Billing

The Billing page includes:

  • current platform plan and subscription status
  • active package features
  • monthly hosted-turn and ingestion-job guardrails
  • hosted credit balance
  • promo and purchased credit breakdowns
  • credit packs for one-time top-ups
  • auto-recharge settings
  • Paddle billing portal access when available

Plans And Guardrails

The plan panel shows your current package, renewal or cancellation state, and active features such as API access, BYOK, MCP, custom tools, human takeover, custom domain, and priority support when those features apply.

Monthly guardrails show how much of the plan's hosted turns and ingestion jobs have been used in the current period.

Hosted Credits

Hosted text, voice, and ingestion usage burn the hosted credit balance. BYOK activity is still visible in usage analytics, but provider billing happens directly in your provider account.

Hosted usage hard-stop

New hosted requests pause when the credit balance is insufficient. Top up or enable auto-recharge to keep hosted workflows running.

Top-Ups And Auto-Recharge

Use credit packs to add prepaid hosted usage without changing the platform plan.

Use auto-recharge when hosted workflows must continue without manual top-ups. Auto-recharge lets you choose:

  • the credit pack to buy
  • the balance threshold that triggers a purchase
  • a monthly cap

The page also shows whether auto-recharge is enabled, pending, or failed.

BYOK Evaluation

Some free accounts can evaluate BYOK for a limited time. When that evaluation is active, the dashboard and billing page show the expiration date. After the evaluation ends, Free falls back to hosted-credit usage unless the organization moves to a paid plan.

What Happens When...

Hosted credit balance is too low

Hosted requests pause until you top up, auto-recharge succeeds, or the organization changes the billing setup.

Auto-recharge is enabled but still did not fire

Check whether the threshold was crossed, whether a recharge is pending, and whether the last recharge failed.

A cancellation is already scheduled

The billing page shows the scheduled cancellation date so the organization can decide whether to renew, upgrade, or let the subscription end.

Best Practices

  • keep billing ownership with organization admins
  • review hosted-credit balance before a launch or ingestion burst
  • set auto-recharge only when you have a clear monthly cap
  • use Usage & Costs to find which provider, model, or workload created spend
  • contact sales when you need custom limits
